Board of Directors

Chair: Bill Pilchak

The Board of Directors govern the Chamber and its activities. Meeting monthly, the Board is comprised of leaders from education, government, business and the community. Board members serve as volunteers, many on several committees, that allow the Chamber to offer a robust schedule of events and programs. The Board of Directors meets on the third Thursday of the month.

Ambassador Committee

Chairs: Debbie Barnowsky & Debbie White

The Ambassadors are committed to outreach, member relations and event support. This dynamic group connects members to the Chamber – enriching the membership experience. Ambassadors meet monthly and are a great source of information about Chamber networking opportunities. The Ambassador Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month.

Education Committee

Chair: George Heitsch

The Education Committee connects the vast educational resources of the Auburn Hills community to the Chamber of Commerce. Identifying strategic goals such as workforce development, the creation of a college-going culture, and the recognition of Avondale students and teachers through Excellence in Education are some key initiatives. Golf Committee

The Golf Committee focuses on two key Chamber programs: the Golf League, held at Fieldstone Golf Club and the Annual Golf Outing. This fun committee provides direction to Chamber golf events and helps to coordinate activites. This committee meets four times annually.

Program Committee

The Program Committee identifies, plans and helps to promote the many events of the Auburn Hills Chamber. Meeting quarterly, the committee strives to create member value through regular, strategic programming. To learn more about Chamber programs and events, please contact the Chamber.

Taste of Auburn Hills

Chairperson: Susan Edwards

The Taste of Auburn Hills is the Chamber’s signature event, drawing hundreds of people throughout the community to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum for a taste of Auburn Hills’ restaurants, caterers and wholesalers. The Taste provides an opportunity to enjoy an evening of culture and cuisine. Mark the calendar for Oct. 6 and bring clients, colleagues and family to this wonderful event. The Taste Committee meets on the third Monday of the month.
