American Cancer Society

On Feb. 21th 2012, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Auburn Hills will begin as event volunteers and participants gather at The Auburn Hills Community Center at 6:30pm for a kick-off rally to launch this year's fundraising efforts. Relay For Life, dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds to fight cancer, includes teams of family, friends and co-workers who camp out overnight, taking turns walking the track. The 2012 Relay For Life of Auburn Hills will take place on May 19th and 20th at the Riverside Park in Auburn Hills.

The Rotary Club of Auburn Hills meets Thursday mornings at Jo Angela's in downtown Auburn Hills. The Rotary is comprised of business and professional leaders who volunteer in their communities and promote world understanding and peace. Boys & Girls Club

Since 1926, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (originally the Boys’ Club of Detroit) has provided high quality youth development programs, sporting activities, events and a safe haven for children. The Clubs have been credited with “saving lives” of children who often have no one to turn to in times of family problems, poverty, failing grades and other difficult situations. Junior Achievement Program

Junior Achievement is a rewarding program, using hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with the business community, JA brings the real world to students by teaching the value of free enterprise, business and economics and the importance of staying in school to improve the quality of their lives. JA's partnership with the Auburn Hills Chamber has brought business and educators together to bring real-world experience to more than 1000 children in Auburn Hills. Our trained business volunteers serve as role models for students by sharing their own career and business stories along with the JA curriculum.

Morning Optimist Club

Founded in 1976, the Morning Optimist Club is comprised of business owners, educators, community leaders, retirees, professionals, and citizens with the common goal of being a "Friend of Youth". Optimist club activities include: Youth Essay and Oractorical Contests, Internet Safety Classes, Programs for Educator of the Year, Fire Fighter and Policeman of the Year, Bicycle Safety, Tri-Star Sports and Junior Golf.
