Who Are We?

Auburn Hills is a dynamic community that continues to be committed to innovation and growth. Our diversified tax base places us in an enviable position in this region, and the City continues to thrive with its many industrial, high-tech, retail, entertainment and educational institutions and facilities. With the world headquarters of FCA , BorgWarner and Continental Automotive Systems, Auburn Hills is home to numerous other North American headquarters such as Hirotec America, Matinrea, VW North America, and Faurecia. We are extremely proud of out international reputation as a great place to do business.

Through a cooperative effort between the residents and businesses, Auburn Hills has evolved into a City that offers the best of both worlds- an attractive business environment and outstanding quality of life. Home to over 25,000 college students, at well-respected institutions including: Oakland University, OU William Beaumont School of Medicine, Oakland Community College, Baker College, WMU/Cooley Law School.

Auburn Hills is a leader in progressive initiatives that respect our environment including adoption of woodlands and wetlands ordinances, habitat enhancement, low-impact development practices, and more. Through its electric-vehicle infrastructure ordinance, Auburn Hills stands ready for the future.

Entertainment
Auburn Hills is home to a wide range of entertainment venues, including the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, The HUB Stadium, TopGolf, LEGOLAND Discovery Center, SEA LIFE Michigan and Meadow Brook Theatre at Oakland University.

Recreation
The City maintains seven, city-owned parks, in addition to 2.1 miles of the regional Clinton River Trail that connects to surrounding communities, where residents can enjoy fishing and kayaking. We are also home to Fieldstone Golf Club, a highly-rated Arthur Hills designed course that consistently ranks as one of the top municipal golf courses in the state.
